TYPE: Still red wine
GRAPE VARIETIES: Croatina, Barbera, Uva Rara and Vespolina.
VINIFICATION: Manual harvest of four types of grapes, fermentation at controlled temperature of about 15 days.
After subsequent racking it rests in tanks until the month of August when it is bottled.
ORGANOLEPTIC CHARACTERISTICS: It has a lively ruby red colour with evident violet reflections, the nose denotes a good intensity with spicy nuances, it is vinous and fragrant with a great body, clean and smooth. This wine is also suitable for long ageing as long as it is stored properly.
ALCOHOLIC STRENGTH: 14 % vol.
PAIRINGS: It goes perfectly with cured meats, first
courses with meat sauce and is exalted with second
courses of game.
